    Yankee Candle built its name on the classic glass jar candle with a wide, even burn pool and a scent range that runs from bakery and fruit notes to autumn and holiday collections. The Original Large Jar and Signature ranges remain the core of the line, alongside smaller Votives, Tumblers and the Wax Melt system for people who prefer flameless fragrance.

    Because the jars are poured with a wide surface area, the key to getting the advertised burn time out of them is the first burn: letting the wax melt fully to the edge of the glass before extinguishing, which prevents tunnelling on later burns. Trimming the wick to about 6mm before each lighting also keeps the flame from sooting the glass.
